Exceptionally attractive antique pocket watch,dial marked Best Centre Seconds Chronograph.Specially Examined.Swiss Made." Large size,two and a quarter inch diameter and weighing a very substantial three and a half ounces. Gold plated case with all hinges/closures sound. Perfect enamel dial with no chips/hairlines/damage whatsoever.Perfect heavy bevelled crystal glass with no scuffs/scratches. Centre sweep blued steel second hand,gold minute hand but the hour hand is missing. The three quarter plate stem wound movement (marked Swiss Made) can be stopped/started by moving the thumb slide to the side of the case. The watch winds well and runs for about 30 hours.The type of watch that would have been owned by a doctor or medical man. A lovely old watch just in need of a replacement hour hand being fitted.
