(NOTE: All vintage political items I list are offered for their collectibility only. I don't endorse or support any political philosophy/viewpoint expressed in these items.) This is a flyer related to the anti Viet Nam War demonstration which turned into a riot when LBJ made an appearance at the Century Plaza Hotel (Los Angeles) on June 23, 1967. The flyer is for a demonstration/gathering held earlier in the day at Cheviot Hills Park (located south of the Century Plaza Hotel), and reads "A Celebration - The End Of The War!" The flyer is black & white, measures 8 3/4" x 13 3/4", dated June 23, blank back, and features a parody of a WW2 American victory poster (due to the large size, the scan does not show the top of the leaflet which reads "VD Day"). Condition: T is handling wear, and is folded is half. See my listings for more original items relating to the 1967 Century Plaza Hotel event/protest, as well as other 1960s vintage political items. First class shipping is $ 1.80. Insurance is optional and minimum $ 1.70 additional. Payment by money order ensures speedy shipping; please allow additional time for personal check to clear. All items are sleeved in plastic and shipped with cardboard.
