This lovely 1938 pattern, Royal Rose, was made by International Silver Company and sold through Sears under the Century name. This vintage set is a complete service for 12 and includes 12 (5 piece) place settings, 7 serving pieces and 5 extra pieces for a total of 72 pieces. All pieces are marked Sterling. T are no monograms or silver removals. The pieces have been gently used and are in good condition. They have all been cleaned but not polished. I hope someone buys this lovely set to use. On replacement websites, these pieces would sell for more than $2000.00 The silver weight is 73.9+ Troy ounces; knife handle weights are included; weight of the stainless blades has been deducted. With silver selling for over 13.40 per Troy ounce, the scrap value alone is 990.00.
