CERAMIC HIPPOPOTAMUS

1986 CYBIS USA

This auction is for a very nice ceramic Hippopotamus made by Cybis and marked 1986 USA found at a local Texas Estate Sale.

It measures approximately 5" tall and 3 1/2" at the widest point. The color is a very pale gray to the body and a pale pink to the tongue, nostrils and inside of ears. Checking the eyes I just noticed a rather long hairline crack that runs up from the center back, around the right eye and over the right shoulder, I missed this earlier as it is hard to see and wasn't felt. I also noticed it didn't have a horn and I had misidentified it!

T are some light smudges that might clean up and one of the felt tabs is missing as seen in the pictures.

Due to charge backs by PayPal the shipping calculator for USPS will include a 75 cents delivery confirmation fee unless insurance is purchased. Insurance if requested, is an additional $1.65. Locals may pickup their items after payment has cleared. Discounted shipping for multiple purchases when paid and shipped together. If you pay with PayPal, I refund any shipping monies over actual after your package has been shipped.
