Polar Beer is the largest selling beer in Venezuela and is made by Cerveceria Polar (Polar Brewery). The brewery is reputed to the be the northernmost one on the continent of South America, and uses the polar bear as its icon. "La Cerveza Popular" (The Popular Beer) is the slogan on the front of the tray, "La Cerveza Popular Satisface Al Paladar" is the slogan on the outside of the rim. This tray was manufactured by the American Can Co. and has their Canco logo on the back; t's is a faint "71-A" at the bottom of the front. The tray measures 13 inches across, 1-1/2 inches deep and and is in good condition. The flat surface is quite clean with only a few scuff marks and light scratches plus a very shallow dent at about 1 o'clock. The rim shows light wear, most noticeable in the white area. The back shows normal wear, t are stains or paint streaks in one area and the remains of a label--which could be cleaned off. The polar bear seems to be a popular guy, 's a chance to get him on a beer tray!
