Vellum Indenture by way of Assignment dated 20th April 1872 PARTIES - HENRY HALKYARD (Surgeon) of Oldham in the County of Lancaster (1) JOHN ROWNTREE (Gentleman) of Oldham (2) SQUIRE ASHTON (Builder) of Oldham (3) and SAMUEL OGDEN WARD (Tin Plate Worker) of Featherstall Road Oldham (4) PROPERTY - A plot of land at Chadderton in the Parish of Prestwich near Oldham containing 1265 square yards with 11 cottages erected thereon This is a clean neatly written document consisting of two sheets measuring approximately 71 x 58 centimetres.
