CHALCEDONY GEODE This specimen measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 2", and weighs 4oz. It is a whole CHALCEDONY GEODE with layers of crystal growth forming a 'flower' or 'bird's nest' shape. The sides are mixed creamy and white on both the inside and outside. Inside, on the bottom, are clear sparkling crystals and t are also small white stalactites and helectites (helectites grow horizontally). Under UV light - Ultraviolet Light - it is very colorful: solid bright green under SW UV light, and purple with green on the edge/lip under LW UV light. From Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.
