This is a beautiful set, it has no damage issues that I can detect. I don't think it has ever actually been used except for display. I have tried to research this item as to date using the markings, but can not find these markings in any database I have searched, except for the one on the saucer, and I'm not even sure its part of the set, but they w together when I got it , and the pattern seems to match. I should mention the inconsistency of the photos, I was trying to use different lighting to highlight the raised figures on the outside of the pottery. However, the group photo, and the one of the pitcher is the most accurate representation of the colors. I didn't have room for an individual photo if the cup, if you want one let me know and I'll e-mail you one. I have seen the material referred to as earthenware, bone china and porcelain, I don't know the difference (if you do please let me know !). Dimensions: Bowl: 15 x 5 inches Pitcher: 9 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches Pot: 10 x 6 1/2 inches Cup: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches Saucer: 5 inches It was made by F. Winkle and Co. They made earthenware in Stoke, Staffordshire, England, from 1890 to 1931. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me for more information, or photos.
