THIS IS A 6 PIECE Myotts “Oriel Pattern” SET (including all pieces). This set is from Myotts England from the mid 1800’s and has AGED imperfections but is in wonderful condition for use. We have had this on our dresser for over 30 years. Gilt edge, ornate with fantastic embossed decoration. See back stamp. The crown motif over ‘S & Co Myotts England- Semi Porcelain in a banner – in green under glaze. I will try to describe and include as much information and photos as possible but being a large set, I will be happy to send you additional photos and info upon request. There have been no repairs done on this set. They are all in original antique condition. There are normal aged imperfections such as crazing and flecks that were fired into the glazes. The color is a very pronounced BLUE GREEN color with beautiful painted GOLD leaf. The leafing is in very nice condition and not rubbed thin like most old pieces. The color will go with ANY other colors you might be using. It looks STUNNING on an antique piece. The LARGE PITCHER Measures 10” around the largest part of the pitcher, it is 12” tall. The Chamber Pot with Lid: measures 6” high and 10” round the widest area. The SMALLEST HANDLE PITCHER w/chip: measures 7 1/2 tall, and 6” round the widest area. This piece has one small chip on the front lower edge of the bottom rim. I tried to show this in a photo. Otherwise it has normal flecks and crazing common to the age of these pieces. The VASE WITH NO HANDLES: is 4” round and 5 ½” tall. and in good condition. The 3 Piece SOAP DISH with LID and DRAIN piece: is 5 1/2 “ round at the widest part and 3 ½ “ tall. The Toothbrush Holder or Mug : or whatever you want to use it for is 3 1/2 “ high and 3” round at the widest part. YOU WILL NOTICE THE MARKINGS - It’s English, but I’m am not an expert on the sets of this period. You might know by looking what exactly this means, if you do, please let me know! I have wondered all these years. There is an accompanying large bowl that has been badly broken and glued together. I don’t believe that it will ship in one piece. I am including it at no cost, except the additional shipping charges, at your request. Pictures are available
