This oval dessert plate was from an extensive pink service and has the Nawab's insignia in the centre of the plate surrounded by a floral wreath. The inscription reads "Amir Al Hind Nawab Azam Jan Bahadur Hirji 1236". The date of 1236 is in the Islamic calendar and equates to 1820 in our time.
