Chameleon 3700dp2 3700watt rms professional power amplifier I'd say for it's age it's in very good condition and worsk very well, it still has some of the protective plastic on it which has kept it looking good underneath. Power output is around 1800w rms per channel at 2 ohms, 1500w rms per channel at 4 ohms, and a little over 1000w rms at 8 ohms & these are not optimistic figures, having put one of these in the place of a crown MA5000vz when it failed I'd say it was hard to tell the difference. The main thing that makes these sound so good is the damping figure of around 1800:1 (almost double that of a crown MA500vz) and a rise time of 2us, which I am not sure what that would equate to in slew rate, but it must be well over 75v per microsecond (which is usually considered a good figure. These figures help to give it it's amazing control of subwoofers and very fast punch with no slow droney sounding bass, unless of course you feed it with dub step or r'n'b It's heavy and valuable so postage is quite high. Only selling due to needing to upgrade to even more powerfull amps, even thou I am not sure the new amps sound as good (matrix xt7000mf) , feel free to have a look at my other items, :D
