After over 40 years as a Breweriana collector, my husband has decided to part with some items to help us enjoy our retirement! We hope that collectors will find treasures in our auctions - his collecting brings many memories of our family traveling the country, our sons stories of drinking "skunk" beer, and the thrill of the hunt. Thanks so much to those who have welcomed us to Ebay! From his own private collection comes this Champagne Velvet Beer metal sign, depicting a fisherman and a beehive, with friends drinking beer (cone tops)on the shore. From the 1940's, from The Terre Haute Brewing Company out of Terre Haute, IN. Artist signature is Hy Hintermeister. Novelty Workers union & American Art Works, Inc. stamps on back. It is in VERY GOOD condition - minor wear & scratches, absolutely no rust, one 1/4" nail hole from original owner hanging in bar. Measures approx. 14 1/4" x 19 1/4". This has been on a wall for display only - 1st time taken down since aquired for these pictures! This would be a gem for any collector - See our other auctions for more Champagne signs!
