Every once in awhile the old man who lives in my house goes out to his 'shop' ( and I say 'junkpile') and presents me with one of his treasures and gives me permission to sell it. The pieces never impress me but what do I know? It never fails that several bidders ( I assume are male) jump right on it & the bidding is always exciting. ( Never happens with my lovely embroidered linens.) So goes...I have for sale to the highest bidder, an old Champion #108 post drill. My spouse says that he was a little kid when he first saw one and he thought it was the cutest thing he ever saw. (He must have been a strange little boy .) Says he has another just like it but even bigger. (Men ALWAYS say that.) I can't tell you any more about this old vintage post drill except that it's in excellent condition The only wear is on the wooden handle. I'm sure that anyone who is interested knows all about post drills.
