For sale is an extremely scarce and fine first printing of the first edition of the original parts of Charles Dickens's famous novel 'Little Dorrit '. Published by Bradbury and Evans, London, 1853. 624p.p. Present are all key first issue printing errors - including Blandois/Rigaud . Also, a very scarce first issue slip from the original parts is bound-in; this tells of the first issue errors present in pervious parts. Beautifully illustrated throughout by 'Phiz'. 8vo. Errata page present. Bound in beautiful blue morocco over, with raised bands and a claret morocco titlelabel to the spine. Very fine marbled endpapers . Externally in pristine order. Internally the text block is very clean, and it has only the predictable sporadic spotting to some of the plates. Overall, this is a very fine, impressive and rare book indeed.
