One fascinating tale, "An old Indian came to our home and was intrigued by my dad's making of tallow candles. He was a trusted friend of my dad and he wanted to trade something of value for the candle mold. The old Indian went to his pony and got out a beautiful deep-blue Army blanket indicating he wanted to trade. Although it was a beauty, my dad would not trade because it was against the law to own any Government Issue blanket. The old Indian left unhappy.
