Charles III gold 100 Francs 1884-A, KM99, MS63 NGC, lovely soft satiny luster and precious few abrasions, a choice example of this largest coin of the principality, located just nine miles away from the seaside resort and playground of Nice and home of the Grimaldi royal family, now famous for having had a Philadelphia-born Hollywood actress named Grace Kelly as its princess, who tragically died in an automobile accident, but that was all a century after this interesting coin was minted. Struck at Paris. Nicer than usually seen. Grade: 63, Service: NGC, Service No.: 661000, Issue Date: 1000, Denomination: MS
