is an estate fresh Charles Lindbergh composition doll. He is dressed in an oil cloth suit and has composition head, hands and feet. I can't tell what his body is made from, it could be wood or composition, with a little padding over it. His arms are just wire down to the hands which are composition. His legs feel a little soft so t is more than wire t! It feels like it could be sawdust. I have not been able to find out anything about this particular doll, a different Lucky Lindy doll was made to commemorate his transatlantic flight from New York to Paris in his plane The Spirit of Saint Luois in May of 1927. This doll was probably made around that time for the same reason but t seems to be no information on this one anyw! Must be a rare one! He stands 11" tall and is in excellent condition. His hands and feet are not chipped, his oil cloth flight suit has some dirty spots but no rips or tears. I think his composition face was repainted at some point, and his nose has a little ding on the end of it. A great doll for the collector of early flight memorabilia!
