Awesome and Large Charles Lisk Pig.Super runny alkaline glaze stoneware from the most sought after potter in the Catawba Valley.Approx 11 1/2" long and stands approx eight inches tall,this is the largest Charlie lisk pig I have seen.Incised on one side is "MONEY HOG Deposit " on the other side is "BANK OF HOG 50,10 5-1",and on rear end "Charles lisk Vale,NC..Pig has three money slots...Excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs,has firing separations At base of front legs (see photo #5) these are filled with glaze and occured during firing.Just a great pc of Southern folk art...High bidder pays $12.00 shipping + ins..Thanks!!
