Very large and heavy EARLY - 1974 Charles Lotton leaf and vine glass paperweight AND a very nice recent Sherburne Slack Glass 'paperweight' heavy crystal piece. This auction is for both pieces. The Charles Lotton paperweight has deep dark blue and cream colored vines and leaf winding throughout this very heavy beautiful weight. It is signed 'Charles Lotton 1974 #107'. It weighs 4.4 pounds, 4.5" wide, 3.75" tall and has a very unusual "earth (as in planet) like bulb" that has been blown in from the bottom!!!! If you enlarge the photos you can see this - I have never seen this before. The Sherburne Slack paperweight has complemented the Lotton piece with it's heavy crystal futuristic deep blue and sea green wave formation inside the glass. It is very unique as is Sherburne Slack who has evolved to incredible levels of art. The Shernburne piece is 7 1/2" tall and 4" at the base. It has a rounded triangular shape to it and is heavy glass for it's size. It is signed by Sherburne Slack ever so lightly. Shipping is paid by buyer $30.00 USA - UPS Ground Insured.
