1901-1902 South Carolina Inter-State and West Indian Exposition Shot Glass. (Appears to be a larger size shot glass). This is a very delicate and almost impossible antique to find from this exposition. Shot glass has beautiful palmetto tree with exceptionally fine detail. Front of glass reads: South Carolina Inter-State and West Indian Exposition, Charleston, SC 1901-1902. Glass is a little less than 2.5" tall and approximately 2.25" wide across top. Glass has several chips around rim of glass, some are very obvious. Also comes with original round box which appears to be some type paper covered with what appears to be leather, but not sure. Box is approximately 2.75" high and approximately 2.5" wide. In my many years of collecting Charleston Expo items, this is the only item like this I have ever seen. Even with chips around rim this is probably one of the rarest and hardest to find Charleston Expo items. A MUST HAVE for the seasoned collector of Charleston Expo items. I am retired and selling my 40 year collection. Please check out my other items and please leave feedback. My feedback rating is excellent and I am sure you will be satisfied. !
