This photograph of swing-era bandleader and songwriter, Charlie Agnew from his early orchestra days in Chicago, is from my collection of original vintage press photos that were sent to a major Chicago news publication, w one of my relatives worked, to promote entertainers in the mid 1920's until 1933 . Since that time they have been stored in my family attic. These are all ORIGINAL PRINTS - NOT REPRODUCTIONS. The photo is approximately 8" x 10" printed on extra heavy paper with a matte finish and is in excellent condition with minimal surface wear. A stamp in the middle of the photo reads Charlie Agnew Exclusive Management Kennaway Incorporated 64 W Randolph St., Chicago. In the lower right is the photographer's stamp Varna Drexel Chicago.
