This plate comes in a metal "film reel" box with a styrofoam liner. It is licensed by "Bubbles Incorporations SA" and distributed by Expressive Designs, Inc.
Jim Liang is the artist, and the plate is #A163. Only 7500 were produced in 1985.
On the front of the plate is a 3-D rendering of Charlie Chaplin as he appeared in the classic film, "Little Tramp", along with what appears to be his autograph.
The plate is signed and numbered on the back, and contains a gold cord for hanging (although I would probably recommend something sturdier)
The plate is in BEAUTIFUL condition, but on the back of the plate it looks like 2 dime-sized pieces (of dried glue or adhesive?). However, they do not interfere with any of the writing on the back of the plate. T are also a couple of small dents and minor scratches on the metal box.
This is a rare find, as I have done research on the internet, & was only able to find one like it of the 3 Stooges--none like this.
