Up for auction here: we have a set of 8 Original 1959 UK lobby cards used for the promotion of 'The Chaplin Revue' - A compilation film ("A Dogs Life" - "Shoulder Arms" - "The Pilgrim") that Charlie Chaplin compiled in 1959 adding extra footage, a soundtrack, and personal introductions to each clip to make it more appealing to the modern audience. These cards measure 8" X 10" and are in very good condition, with natural ageing, mild dirt/stains from handling mainly noticeable on the white areas. There are no tears or major damage. The backs have 'GIROSIGN LTD' ., 88, WARDOUR ST,, W1 and the number 07987 printed on the back of each card. I'm assuming this was a film related company address in London during the 1950's.
