CHARLIE McCARTHY CARDBOARD PUPPET DISPLAY! OLD 1940s
This auction is for a vintage cardboard puppet/display-type item, which was originally used by the Chase & Sanborn Coffee Company for advertising in the 1940s, and it was found in an estate sale of items from the 1940s and 1950s decades...

He bends at the hips and is hinged at the knees so they can bend to sit on a person's lap, and you pull the tab at the back-side to make his mouth and eyes open and close!...

The words "Charlie McCarthy" and "Litho in U.S.A." are stated on the front-side...

Used in general Good/Fair condition, some chipping/wear marks along edges and his shirt and gloves, a few on his face, and along back pull-tab. The colors look nice and clear. Measures 20 1/2 (vertical) by 8 (horizontal at longest point) inches, and will be shipped flat in a box for protection. $4.25 (priority) shipping (outside USA will be different). Thanks for looking!
