Charlie Sifford is the 1st American American to receive a PGA Players Card in 1961. becoming the the Jackie Robinson of Golf.
African American Golf Collection includes the following (4) items all in mint condition! (1)- Dr. Charlie Sifford Signed Book ( Just Let me Play ) with (1)- 8 x 10 Black & White of Charlie (1) 2004 Golf Hall of Fame induction Program & (1) Sifford PGA Rookie Card Note: Charlie is the only African in the World Golf Hall of Fame. I Personally had Dr Sifford sign this book in 2003 at Browns Mill Golf Course when he appeared to honor Carl Selden, ( the first African American to get a PGA Card from Georgia ) I also had him sign a complete set of Charlie Sifford signature clubs made by Dunlop in the late 1960's that remain in my private collection.
