You are bidding on a miniature enameled copper Charlotte di Vita "Cool Cats" teapot from the Numbered Collectors Edition. This wonderful piece of work comes in a new, silk lined orange box with an imitation snake skin look. Also inside the box is the booklet of information on the Charlotte di Vita Collections including history, techniques and background. About this piece: This beautiful teapot stands 3.5 inches high from the lid to the base and 4.5 inches wide from the handle to the spout. The hand painted graphic depicted on the front, back, sides and top of this beautifully created, mint condition piece of art is of a bunch of happy cats all trying to be the one on top with small designs surrounding them. Description: Each teapot is individually hand-made and hand-painted, taking up to 4 days to complete entailing more than 129 separate steps. Intricate craftsmanship and timeless design make the Charlotte di Vita Collections an art to be treasured, just like its 17 th Century counterparts. Every teapot is a genuine numbered edition collectible, back-stamp authenticated and presented with a brass tag tied by a silk cord to the handle confirming the teapot as a "Certified Original". However, these teapots are more than just collectibles, they "are about raising a cup of kindness to help others." Funds raised through her collectibles have been donated to the Trade plus Aid charitable trust in order to finance development projects to alleviate poverty in less developed countries in Asia and Africa.
