Description:

The Charlotte di Vita Collections(tm) enamels are created using advanced quality and safety control measures, but the production methods remain based on the traditional techniques used in Georgian England. Continuing an ancient art form ( similar to the manufacturing process of the collectible and expensive Halcyon Days miniature boxes ), prized by collectors since the 18th century, each teacup and saucer is made from 19 individually cut copper pieces. After the teacup and saucer is fashioned from copper, it is dipped in porcelain. A design outline is then created. Each teacup and saucer is then individually handpainted to create lustrous enamel paintings. Handcrafting ensures that no two pieces are ever identical. Standing approximately 1 1/2" high, every one of these Charlotte di Vita Collections(tm) miniature enamel teacup and saucer sets are individually hand-made and hand-painted, taking up to four days to complete and entailing more than 129 skilled tasks. Intricate craftsmanship and timeless designs, make the Charlotte di Vita Collections works of art to be treasured, like their 17th Century counterparts, from generation to generation. Every set is a genuine numbered edition collectable, back-stamp authenticated and presented with a brass tag tied by a silk cord to the handle confirming the set as a "Certified Original".
