Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal Art Deco Orange Stitch Pattern Var Preserve Jam Pot Move mouse over images to see larger version Description For auction is a stunning and unusual lidded pot manufactured by the world famous Crown Ducal ( A G Richardson ) factory in Stoke on Trent, England. The jug has a stunning design in the style of Charlotte Rhead which is a variant of the stitch pattern . It is decorated in typical tube lined fashion with to the edging with orange lustr ous body decorated with darker bands of orange and black . The item is not signed but is definitel y the design work of Charlotte. The item is in very good condition for it's vintage with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is a small raised blip to the body on the integral tray but this is underglaze and has occurred at time of manufacture. It does not affect display or appeal as shown in the close up photos. Size & Weight Size - 8.3cm (3.25 inches) high Weight -100g Markings Fully stamped to the base with 1930s Crown Ducal markings (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).
