CHARLOTTE RHEAD CROWN DUCAL HUGE 17 1/2" CHARGER CIRCA 193O'S Description: A lovely Charlotte Rhead 17 1/2" (44.45 cm) hand painted 1930's charger made during the time Charlotte worked for Crown Ducal. It is ribbed and slip decorated with a stylised floral motif to center on cream field.The rim is decorated with contrasting blue flashes.Base is marked with the period backstamp of Crown Ducal and the Charlotte Rhead design signature. Condition: Excellent original condition.No cracks, chips, flea bites or restoration.A very minor glaze imperfection on rim noticable only on very close examination and mentioned only for accuracy of description.Normal crazing noticable under magnification.THIS ITEM WAS BLACK LIGHT TESTED.
