This charming Antique Victorian Irish Bog Oak Cauldron Inkwell dates I believe to around 1880. I am unsure whether it would originally have has a lid or a liner, but if so, neither are now present. The Bog Oak Inkwell is in lovely vintage condition. The only tiny imperfections worthy of mentioning for accuracy are some tiny nibbles and tiny cracks around the top rim, but I could really only see these under a magnifying glass (middle-aged eyesight) ! The Inkwell stands approximately 1.75 inches high and has a diameter across the top of around 1.75 inches. It is decorated with Irish Shamrocks, and will make a charming Antique addition to any Irish Bog Oak collection. It weighs approximately 58 grams.
