Description Garanteed original... Sweet German Wedding Music Box / Jingle Box Hurdy-Gurdy Box Bid on a piece of history! Handcrafted folk music boxes have been made for decades in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) region of Eastern Germany. This one is a real charmer! It is a jingle box, with a delicate, fine sound. Crank the handle and you hear Wagner's Wedding March (" Comes the Bride..."). The motif features a bride and groom dancing to the music of a man playing the horn, with a tree and flowers. Great folky presentation and bold, primary country colors. All wood -- no plastics, moded resins or plasters -- even the curled leaves on the tree and the flower petals are carefully shaped out of wood. Bride's veil is made of real cloth and the horn is crafted out of wire. This music box is hand-made and hand-painted! This music box was made a few years ago in a family workshop, based on historic designs, using traditional methods and materials. It's 'new' old stock (with its original box -- box has very minor wear), which means that we can offer it at a fraction of the price you would pay in a shop..
