This small, beautiful,tin plate globe made by Chad Valley, circa 1950, is in excellent vintagecondition. It has some rust marks on the North Pole and Equator but stands firmly on its base with no pitting. Please refer to detailed photographs. The stem bears the royal crest and is marked “By Appointment Toy Makers to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother” and “Made in England”. I bought it many years ago since when it has been used as a decorative bookend on my travel book shelf and has been well looked after. It would look lovely on a desk in a home office.
