CHARTER OAK 1847 ROGERS BROS. CASSEROLE SPOON, GRAVY LADLE, SERVING SPOONS, YOUTH SPOON & FORK SET We are offering for your consideration this estate CHARTER OAK 1847 ROGERS BROS. SET/6 PC, 2 SERVING SPOONS 8 ¼" in a very good to an excellent condition, one shows a nick in the heel and the 2 nd a little wear on heel, both with NO monogram and backstamped 1847 ROGERS BROS. A1 follow by the tiny Meriden imprint within a little circle, 1 SOLID BERRY/CASSEROLE SPOON 8 7/8" this piece is in a very good condition showing some nicks inside the bowl, 1 GRAVY LADLE 7 ¼" in a very good to an excellent condition showing just minor nicks inside the bowl, both with NO monogram and backstamped 1847 ROGERS BROS. XS TRIPLE follow by the tiny Meriden imprint within a little circle and finally the YOUTH FORK 6 1/8" and YOUTH SPOON 5 3/8" particularly this piece a hard to find one, both in a good condition with NO monogram however both show wear in the back of the bowls, both backstamped 1847 ROGERS BROS. - Meriden imprint- XS TRIPLE; all the pieces have NOT been re plated and show an "aged" patina which enhances the daintiness of the pattern, details as shown in the pictures below, CHARTER OAK 1847 ROGERS is a c. 1906 pattern without a doubt one of the most grandiose silverplate ever made, part of the Art Nouveau period, an era that ran from about read more
