I have collected and traded barware for years now. It has been a wonderful hobby, passion, andsometimes obsession. I have decided toskim a few items off the top of my collection and unload some other recent acquisitions. Please keep an eye on my other items if you're a barware nut like me! These glorious quartet of Chase Gaieties are right out of my personal collection. They have been proudly displayed in our smoke free home from time to time. This opportunity to pad your cocktail shaker collection will not come along again! These rare colored Gaiety versions come up very infrequently on eBay. Don't miss out. are some condition details. All shakers DO come with their internal strainersBLACK: I must point out that this has the much rarer black enameled brass finial that I believe was only of the first few batches made. It's the closest to mint condition Gaiety I have ever had the privilege to own. I'm sure it was never used. What a shame! The only thing missing is the original packaging. The inside is gleaming like it's never had a taste of gin. The bands are in perfect shape and the paint is still shining. T are some very minor surface scratches and the finial has a few lumps on its very top.GREEN: is a rare Gaiety shaker with the dark green Bakelite finial. The green enamel bands are in really nice shape but they do have a few chips. This shaker has some chrome pitting and scratches. Interior plating is intact and it could be used. T is a hint of brass through the silver plate on its upper most rim which is common. The bottom rim has some very minor denting. All and all it displays really nice and looks great!BLUE: The blue one is in really nice shape! Its chrome is shiny and bright. It only has minimal surface scratching. The bands are in nice shape with a few minor chips. Its interior plating is worn. T is one small dent on the bases circumference. The finial is a painted black Bakelite version. Judging from the look of the paint and the way it was applied I believe this to be a "true blue" shaker. Please see the book "Chase Complete" to see the white version of the Gaiety shaker with what looks to be a black Bakelite painted white finial. RED: This rare version is in fair condition. It has the red Bakelite finial. The chrome is in decent shape with some surface scratching and pitting. The inside has some plating loss and t is a ridge like dent on the side. Its red bands are worn and chipped. Please ask any questions!! All sales are final. I will pack well and cover shipping in the United States when you use "Buy It Now." International shipping will be covered by the buyer.
