CHATTY CATHY TALKING DOLL FROM MATTEL - VINTAGE 1959 WITH BOX !!!! Welcome to "Chatty Cathy" - 20 inches tall !! Poor Chatty Cathy has only a blur of a voice left. The string works perfectly, you just cant understand her anymore :( . Her hair is as beautiful as ever and her parts work perfectly :) ! The legs bend at the hips and the arms move perfectly . Her eyes open and close as you move her from a lying to a standing position. The box is in sound condition but has some fading in the details. No bad stains on the box, it is very sturdy. Chatty Cathy dates back to 1959 - date is in roman numerals on Chatty Cathy's back. She was made in California. I got Chatty Cathy at an estate sale - everything at the sale was in pristine condition, Chatty is likewise, in very good condition. The slip and underwear are too big, I am not sure how this happened. They do drop down when she is standing. It looks like the slips elastic band has wore out. Although, the slip and underwear could be seconds, I am just not sure. Everything else looks authentic. Check the pic's out closely and email me with any questions.
