Come own a piece of Maritime history with this rare sized 3 5/8" Chelsea Ships Bell Clock and Holosteric Barometer Combo made exclusively for the Wellcraft Corporation circa 1974/1975 (The Bob Long Era…Yes the same “Bob the Boat Builder” that McCain spoke about last year last year in Sarasota, FL). This set includes: · The well known 3 5/8" Chelsea Ships Bell Clock with the screw on bezel, original silvered dial, black spade hands, and etched black Arabic numerals. · A Chelsea 3 5/8" Holosteric Barometer with the screw on bezel, an original silvered dial, and etched black Arabic numerals along with an adjustable needle for marking changes in barometric pressure. · The trademark emblem of the Wellcraft Corporation at the top · An etched brass plate noting “Wellcraft Marine $200,000 Club” · An inclinometer at the bottom with readings from 80 degrees port and 80 degrees starboard · All mounted on the original wood plaque as purchased from Chelsea over 30 years ago The clock itself features the world renowned jeweled Chelsea 8 day time and strike movement, a fast/slow regulator to the left of the center arbor and an off/on switch to silence the ships bells that chime beautifully in the ships bell pattern every ½ hour in perfect sequence.
