Four original Documents from an American Soldier in the Chemical / Gas Company Characteristics About This item: 1.Catalog Number: 267-11 2. Condition of Item : Good Condition, worn and dirty from age - minor tears and rough edges, documents have been folded - Please see image file. 3. Identification: Sgt. Francis L. Brown 62nd Chemical Depot & 412th Chemical Company 4. Other Information: A nice little group of 4 original documents from a soldier in a Chemical Company. The first document is from "Headquarters United States Army Services of Supply - Southest Pacific Area, Base Section No. 4". This is a certificate of proficiency for Noncommissioned Gas Officer dated August 1942. The next docuement is a promotion document to Corporal from Fort Dix, New Jersey dated March 1942 signed by Capt. Stephen Lenler - 412th Chemical Company - Depot. The next document is a promotion to Sgt given out at Kane Ordnance Depot, Victoria - Australia in May of 1942 signed by the same captain. The last document is the soldiers discharge given out a Camp Dix, New Jersey in June of 1945. This is a double sided document. All documents measure 8" x 10". The first proficiency document has a nice Chemical Corps insignia at the top. The soldier was from Hornell, New York. Please visit our ebay store! 5. Payment, Payment is due within 3 days of auction
