This gorgeous confection will look wonderful on your doll! It is entirely and painstakingly sewn by hand onto a wire frame, using antique lace netting as well as pleated netting and ribbon. A large rose silk ribbon tops it off. This bonnet will fit a bebe with a head circumference of 8 to 9". With the high cost of original antique bonnets, this is the next best thing; a newly created bonnet of all vintage or antique materials! This bonnet truly does look old, because all the materials used are all old. As with an antique doll bonnet, this bonnet will be wrapped very carefully for shipping and should be handled delicately by its new owner. I like to use vintage or antique materials when I make my doll hats & accessories. If not, I use items that were available at the time; cotton, silk, straw, leather. No polyester or plastic! All of my items are made by hand, with special attention to detail. Please keep in mind that vintage/antique materials may show some slight age or wear, but I feel this just adds to the charm of the item.
