Two Cherner chairs up for auction. I don't know exactly what year these were made, certainly mid-century. I believe these have the original upholstery on them since they've been around a long time, but I can't guarantee that either. They are in EXCELLENT condition for their age.
They have been well taken care of. One of the little clear rubber feet is missing on one of the chairs. I didn't realize it until I took the photos. I am going to look for it and will of coarse include it if I can find it. It's a very thin foot and the chair does not wobble without it. Also, if you look closely you will see the upholstery on one of the chairs has a Small 1/2" tear (the left chair in photo#1). It should be easy to fix because it is very thin. I love these chairs because they are beautiful, but I need to sell them because I just bought some Heywood Wakefield stuff and I am now Broke. They have a few very minor, barely visible scuffs that would disappear with a little oil or polish. Remnants of the original tags are still on the bottom of the chairs, but are mostly worn off and not legible. Buyer pays freight. Freight will be calculated and added to the total after I get the winning bidder's zip code. Thanks for your time. 3/26/07 I found out today that FREIGHT TO THE UNITED KINGDOM would be 125.00 for surface and 175.00 for air freight. I recommend air freight to minimize handling and possible damage. I will pack them well, but you never know, and these are relatively hard to replace. Thanks Matthew.
