These wall hanging baskets are made by the Cherokee Indians in North Carolina. The baskets were purchased in 1980 at the Qualla Arts & Crafts Store in Cherokee, NC. They are white oak baskets made by Dotty Taylor. The baskets are flat on the back to sit against the wall and both have hinged lids. The piece is roughly 7 1/4 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the widest point. A really unique and beautiful display item. This set has been stored in a pet free and smoke free home and there are no damages at all.
