Thisnecklace is stunning, large graduated round Cherry Amber Bakelite beads. Thissuper necklace measure 80cm from end to end and weighs in at 71.4grams and is finished with original Cherry Amber Bakelite barrel clasp. The largest round bead measure 1.8cm across graduating down to the small beads at 1cm across. The Bakelite beads are of a fantastic colour looks and mimics Amber so well as the best Cherry Amber Bakelite will. the beads are strung on knotted rust cotton/ silk,now weather this is original I have no way of telling but the cord is good and strong although there is a bit of stretch. The beads have been fully tested both with Simi chrome (nice tea coloured stain) also hot water test ( strong Phenol smell) once you have had a whiff of this it is never forgotten!! This necklace is in top condition, no bad chips or cracked beads. There is a small amount of minute surface scratches but if there was not I would suspect the age of these beads.
