2 Panels Fabulous Cherry Blossom Branches Vintage Silk Kimono Fabric What a fabulous silk this is, I haven't seen too many silks lately with sakura (cherry blossoms) but this piece is simply covered with them. The grey branches are overflowing with cherry blossoms in shades of red, peach and pink and the base silk has an equally fabulous rinzu weave with large bamboo leaves, swirls and fans. This is a midweight silk with a soft textured touch, a great drape and a subtle sheen. This auction is for 2 panels of the same size and they are in almost excellent condition with some possible areas of light discoloration (I can't tell for sure) which is too light to photograph anyhow.
