A very large bakelite bangle. Very heavily carved over the thick walls. The carvings depict a pair of large kissing fish locked in a puckering pose. Each fish has fantastic details of the flowing fins, scales and other details. Fabulous details that really show off well. The color is a solid cherry red. T is a dark red blush on the rim near the hinge area. Nice and big and chunky. 1 & 3/8 inches wide and nicely domed, with 3/8 inch walls. The opening is 2 & 1/2 inches across, the hinge is tight and snappy. In excellent condition, with no chips, scratches, cracks or repairs. Tested positive yellow swab with the 409 & "simichrome" polish and the hot water method. All sales are final. Auction payments by Money Orders or PayPal only.
