She is NOT a replica, but an original Featherweight that 's been thoroughly restored, cosmetically refurbished and painted. This beauty has had all her mechanical and electrical parts cleaned, oiled, lubricated, polished, then tested. She's in "cherry" condition... Singer made the Perfect Portable and 's your opportunity to own one. She's light weight ,11 lbs, and reliable. GREAT for sewing, quilting, retreats, classes, or for just setting in your sewing room looking pretty. What a wonderful gift for that special someone !!! YOU. Her serial number is AF488812 She's a belt driven, low shank, rotary hook sewing machine that keeps her from jumping around when sewing her continuous and smooth stitches. She uses Class 221/301 bobbins and 15 X 1 needles that are both available today at your local fabric store. She's been professionally repainted
