Great piece of history for ephemera collectors as well as presidential signature collectors! Land grant to Stanislaus Moran of Harrison County Mississippi containing 43 acres and twenty-four hundredths of an acre.Signed by Chester A. Arthur, O.L. Judd assisstant secretary and S. W. Clark, recorder of the General Land Office. Dated October 10, 1882. On the back it shows recorded on December 22, 1883 and signed by F. S. Hewes, Clerk. I have placed the document in acid-free clear plastic, but for years it was just folded in a drawer somewhere so there is some staining to the document. I have described this item to the best of my ability but am no expert. Please view the photos as part of the description. Vintage items have some wear due to age alone. Please email questions PRIOR to bidding as all sales are final. We accept Paypal and payment must reach us within 3 days of close of auction.
