Chester Hewell Signed Stoneware Ugly Face Jug that I picked up at a recent estate settlement - very nice condition - not dated, sold as 1960's but cannot confirm - Chester Hewell, a member ofmulti-generation family of Hewell, created and signed this beautiful Ugly FaceJug - Chester is the son of the deceased potter Harold Hewell, and living potter Grace Nell - approx. 10 inches tall (to top of opening) x 8 inches wide (ear to ear) x 5+ pounds - please check out the pix and contact me with any questions.
