Up for auction is a pair of pearly handled binoculars marked Chevalier Opticien Paris. I think they are called opera glasses. These are pretty old, remarkably good shape and belonged to the father of my great-great uncle. They are engraved John J. Moss. That dates them before 1900 if I calculate properly. They work fine but they are old, maybe even a collectors item. They come in a tattered leather case as seen in the photo. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
