Another treasure from the old barn on the prairie.Chicago Great Western Railroad signal blue print set for the Illinois division.4 print set with issue dates of,1951,1944,2 ea. 1941.3 of them have multiple revisions through to 1963.One has numerous revisions through 1965......so they were up to date close to the merger.They have hand written notes and modifications made with colored pencils(One print states red in,yellow out).This set covers mile post 17 at the I.C.R.R. crossing in Elmhust all the way through northern Illinois to end at the Galena junction interlocking w the Great western ran over the Mississippi river over the I.C.R.R.Features such interesting things as Winston tunnel,a 2 mile long passing track at North Hanover,2 1/2 miler at Stockton,the switch key clearing at Golden.....If you really want to get to know the great western ,this is it.This print set came from the signal maintainers shop in the St.Charles depot.Buyer to pay shipping.
