This is a Chicago & Northwestern Metal Advertising Sign. It was removed from the Chadron Nebraska Train Depot before it was torn down. It is in excellent condition, especially for a sign that was fastened to the side of a building. It is metal, with 2 layers of stencils over it. The sign measure 39 inches wide, and is 23 inches high. In some places the top stencil is bubbleing or peeling. The bottom layer is intact. T are 4 screw holes that do show metal w the screws wore away the stencil in the hole. T is a scratch along the bottom of the black that runs into the red. It does no go through to the metal. T is "bubbleing" around the enge on the right side. I have taken pictures to show these blemishes. In my opinion this sign is in excellent condition, not mint or new in box, but very good for most displays. Yes, those of you who are wondering this sign did sell a couple of weeks ago, the buyer was unhappy stating that I didn't show enough detail of the blemishes thus, I have done everything to show every little detail. It sounds like I'm trying not to sell this doesn't it? Believe me this sigh is in overall great condition.
