Chicago Police Department ' Gamewell Call Box '

This is a Chicago Police Department ' Gamewell Call Box '. Box is in real nice condition with the exception of minor wear and age scratches and dings on the phone itself and a minor use paint scrape on the inside top edge of the door which cant be seen unless looking for it and does not affect the overall appearance of the box.. Appearing on street corners affixed to poles prior to the 1900's gangster era, they remained until the city began to remove them in the 1970's.
